Myeongin AI respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy complies with the strictest privacy requirements, including the Apple App Store's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework and Google Play Store's Data Safety guidelines.

1. Data Minimization & Local Storage (No User DB)

Raising AI does not require you to create an account or log in. We practice strict Data Minimization. We do not have our own user database (No Server DB). All sensitive data you input—including parent names, child profiles, and journal/situation logs—is stored exclusively on your device's local storage.

We (Myeongin AI) do not transmit, collect, sell, or store any personally identifiable information (PII) on our servers.

When you use the voice input feature, audio data captured by your device's microphone is processed entirely on-device using the operating system's built-in speech recognition engine. No audio or voice data is transmitted to external servers, stored on your device, or retained in any form. The resulting text is treated identically to manually typed input.

2. Voice Input (Speech-to-Text)

Raising AI offers an optional voice input feature that allows you to describe situations by speaking instead of typing. This feature operates as follows:

• Microphone Permission (RECORD_AUDIO): The App requests access to your device's microphone solely for the purpose of converting your spoken words into text. This permission is only used when you actively initiate voice input.
• On-Device Processing: All speech recognition is performed locally on your device using Apple Speech (iOS) or Google Speech Recognition (Android) engines. No audio data is sent to Myeongin AI servers or any other third-party service.
• No Audio Storage: Voice recordings are never saved. Audio is processed in real time and immediately discarded after text conversion is complete.
• Converted Text: The resulting text from voice input is treated exactly the same as text you type manually—it is stored locally on your device and, when you request AI advice, is subject to the same policies described in Section 3 (Third-Party API Usage).

3. Third-Party API Usage (OpenAI)

The core functionality of Raising AI involves generating AI advice based on situations you describe. When you create a prompt:

• Only the specific text describing the situation is transmitted to a third-party language model service (e.g., OpenAI) for a one-time generation request.
• We actively block or strip any inferable personally identifiable information (PII) from these requests.
• The data sent to these external APIs is not used to train their models.

4. Advertising & Analytics (Google AdMob)

To keep the App free for all users, we integrate Google AdMob to display advertisements (such as interstitial ads). Through this SDK, certain data is automatically collected by Google:

• Device Identifiers: Advertising IDs (such as Android Advertising ID or Apple IDFA).
• Metadata: IP addresses (to approximate geographic location), device models, crash logs, and app performance metrics.

This data is used solely to provide ads, measure ad performance, prevent fraud, and ensure app stability. We adhere strictly to our advertising partners' policies.

5. Device Permissions

Raising AI requests the following device permissions:

• Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO): Used exclusively for the optional voice input (Speech-to-Text) feature. Audio is processed on-device only and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted. See Section 2 for details.
• Internet Access: Required for retrieving AI-generated advice via OpenAI and for displaying advertisements via Google AdMob.

6. App Tracking Transparency (ATT) & Opt-Out

For iOS users, we fully support the App Tracking Transparency framework. You will be prompted to grant or deny permission to track your activity across other companies' apps and websites for advertising purposes.

How to Opt-Out: You always have control over ad tracking:

• iOS: Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and toggle off permission for Raising AI.
• Android: Go to Settings → Google → Ads and select "Opt out of Ads Personalization" or "Delete advertising ID".

7. Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell your personal information. Data is only processed through the aforementioned third parties (Google AdMob for ads, OpenAI for AI logic) under their respective, strict privacy agreements. We may also disclose information where legally required by authorities.

8. Children's Privacy

While Raising AI involves parent-child interactions, the App is intended for use by parents/adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us to have it removed.

9. Security & Policy Changes

We implement commercially reasonable security measures. However, no electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We may update this policy periodically; the date at the top will reflect the latest revision.
