3. What Data the App Collects

3.1 Data We Do NOT Collect

We do not directly collect or store:

• Name, email address, phone number, or any other personal identifiers
• Date of birth or age
• Payment or financial information (no in-app purchases)
• Account credentials (the App has no login or account system)
• Dream text you enter into the App is processed entirely on your device. We do not transmit, store, or process your dream content on our servers. The App generates interpretation prompts locally, which you may choose to copy and use with third-party AI services at your own discretion.

3.2 Data Automatically Collected by Third-Party SDKs

The App integrates Google AdMob to display advertisements. Through this SDK, the following information may be automatically collected by Google (not by us directly):

• Advertising ID (AAID): Android Advertising ID used for ad targeting and frequency capping
• IP address: used to derive approximate geographic location for ad targeting
• Device identifiers: device model, OS version, app version
• Ad interaction data: ad impressions, clicks, and related engagement metrics
• Diagnostics / performance data: crash reports and app-level performance metrics (if applicable via Firebase/AdMob diagnostics)
• Network information: carrier, connection type (Wi-Fi / mobile data)

The information collected (primarily by AdMob) is used for the following purposes:

• Providing and improving App functionality and user experience
• Serving advertisements and measuring their performance
• Preventing advertising fraud and abuse

We do not sell your personal information to any third party. The only third-party service that receives data in connection with this App is:

6. Data Retention

• Dream content: We do not transmit or store dream text on our servers. Dream text remains on your device, and the App only generates prompts locally. If you choose to copy the prompt and use it with third-party AI services, that interaction happens outside of our App.
• Ad-related data: Data collected by Google AdMob is retained according to Google's own data retention policies, over which we have no direct control.

7. Your Rights and Controls

You have the following controls over ad-related data collection on your device:

• Reset your Advertising ID on Android: Go to Settings → Google → Ads → Reset advertising ID. This creates a new ID unlinked from your previous ad history.
• Opt out of personalized ads on Android: Go to Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization. You will still see ads, but they will not be based on your interests.
• Google Ad Settings: You can manage your ad preferences globally via Google's Ad Settings (available on Google's website).

Because we do not collect personal information directly, there is no account to delete or modify on our side. For data held by Google, please refer to Google's privacy controls.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us at myeongin.ai@gmail.com and we will take prompt action to remove any such information.

9. International Users

The App is available globally. Data processed by Google AdMob may be transferred to and processed on Google's servers located in various countries around the world, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence. By using the App, you acknowledge this international processing. Google applies appropriate safeguards for such transfers in accordance with applicable laws.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. However, please be aware that no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of any data transmitted to or through the App or processed by third-party services.

12. Microphone and Voice Input

Somnia AI offers an optional voice input feature that allows you to dictate your dream description using your device's microphone.

• The microphone is only accessed when you explicitly tap the microphone button.
• No audio recordings are stored by the app.
• On Android, speech recognition is processed by Google's on-device Speech Recognition service. On iOS, it is processed by Apple's Speech Recognition framework.
• Only the resulting text is used within the app. The app does not transmit audio to any servers operated by Myeongin AI.
• Use of this feature is entirely optional. You may type your dream description instead.
